COVID-19 CLEANING PROCEDURES

Each venue host is responsible for ensuring that their space undergoes a deep cleaning between bookings. These guidelines will help you keep your space clean to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and provide a peace of mind for both guests and hosts while booking and listing venues.

Cleaning Standards

Every host is required to undergo a deep cleaning of their space before each booking. Please ensure that cleaning products contain either 60% alcohol base or 0.1% sodium chlorite. Heightened focus on areas of frequent touch, such as light switches, taps, torches, handles, bedside tables and stationery.

In order to provide a clean space for your guests, please every Host is required to do the following:

Clean the space thoroughly by sweeping, moping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

Disinfect all high touch surfaces, including but not limited to door knobs, switches, tables, phones, faucets, toilets and handles.

Remove all trash from the venue and ensure it is properly disposed of.

Supply hand washing stations with soap or hand sanitizer with a minimum of 60% alcohol.

Additional COVID-19 Measures

In addition to the standard cleaning protocols, hosts can take enhanced precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when cleaning.

Limit guest count based on the size of the venue.

Space out bookings to allow for proper deep cleaning.

Add disinfecting wipes, paper towels and disposable masks for easy guest access.

Reconfigure the space to allow for social distancing.

Increase access to outdoor air ventilation.

Add 6-foot social distancing markers where necessary.
