It’s just three easy steps to booking your perfect venue for your next event. Search. Select. Secure. Explore our thousands of options in your immediate area by inputting your budget and other filters specific to your wants. After you’ve decided which one of our venues is ideal for your vision, schedule a walk-through and plan your event. Now, how's that for a convenient way to shop your event location?

Booking a venue is quick and easy. All you have to do is create an account, search through our thousands of options from FREE until you’ve found your perfect space and then simply pay for your venue. Remember, if you want to be able to book spaces and message hosts, you will need to share more information — like your name and a profile photo — that helps hosts identify you and build trust with you.

Our messaging feature allows you to speak to the host of your chosen venue as soon as you’ve completed your booking.

Once you have searched through our options, selected your favorite venue and secured your date with payment, you can now schedule a walk-through with the property owner. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our support team.

We want to ensure that both our hosts and guests feel comfortable and safe while navigating throughout our community. As such, Locate-A-Venue does allow hosts to have installed security and recording devices in their venues. However, this must be disclosed to guests and highlighted in their property description. We do not condone or advise concealed recording devices.

You can pay and secure your venue bookings from anywhere in the world through our secure payment site. Locate-A-Venue currently accepts credit or debit cards, along with PayPal payments. Once the host accepts your booking, your payment and reservation will be confirmed. As soon as payment is confirmed our Cancellation and Refund Policy will take effect.

We have well-experienced event planners who can also assist you with catering, decorations, supplies, set up and more. We are here to help make your vision a reality. What are you waiting for? We understand that sometimes things don’t always go as planned and unexpected situations may arise. That’s why we want ensure that you are covered within our Locate a Venue Cancelation and Refund Policy.

To cancel a Booking, submit a request to cancel using the “Cancel Booking” designations found in your dashboard on our platform (mobile app or website). Cancellation requests cannot be submitted through messages, phone calls, chats, or emails to Locate a Venue.

Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel a booking within 48 hours after the booking is confirmed by the Host, provided the cancellation is made no later than one week (168 hours) before the scheduled start time of the Booking (“Start Time”). Otherwise, guests will incur a cancellation charge that includes Locate a Venue’s Processing Fee and a portion of the Booking Price (collectively a “Cancellation Fee”)

This Locate a Venue Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") covers all cancellations or refunds for Fees paid on the platform, which are identified in the Fees Overview.

Host FAQ

It costs you NOTHING to list your space on Locate a Venue and every booking is supported by our team.

To begin earning money from your venue, start by registering an account with Locate a Venue. List your venue options, tell us what makes your place special and what guests can expect and get your space in front of the thousands of people searching for spaces like yours.

Guests will not be allowed to message a host before completion and payment of bookings.

When a booking is confirmed by a host, an authorization hold will be placed on the guest payment method. The card or payment method on file will not be charged in full until the booking is complete. Hosts can be assured that their payouts will be deposited directly to their account/wallet minus LAV’s service fee.

Our team is always ready and available to help our hosts in any way we can. We not only provide a host protection program, but we also provide event planning and organizational support through our assigned agent. We’re here to help you every step of the way.

Our first priority is to ensure safety, equity and fairness for both our hosts and our guests while connecting through our site. It is through these principles that we strictly advise members of our community to keep transactions and communications through our messaging platforms where we can help protect you from risks, fraud and other liabilities. Anyone who violate these policies will be banned from the community.

After a booking is complete, both the guest and the host will have the opportunity to provide feedback on your experience. This is all a part of building trust, visibility and relationships within our community. Once you continue to provide one-in-a-lifetime experiences and receive rave reviews, your hosting status will be boosted. We advise both hosts and guests to be critical but kind and most of all honest in their reviews.

We understand that guest cancellations can be inconveniencing and frustrating, especially when they may be short term. We want to make sure our hosts not only feel that they are given the best opportunity to thrive, but that they are also protecting their interests and their investments. That’s why we want ensure you that you are covered within our Locate a Venue Cancelation and Refund Policy.

All hosts have the final decision on who they approve to book their venue. Any Host-initiated cancellations will be fully refunded to the Guest (including any Fees paid). The host cancelling the booking will be responsible for losses incurred by Locate-A-Venue or the guest associated with any cancellation, and all scheduled payouts for that booking will be cancelled.

A Booking is only officially cancelled once the Guest has received confirmation of the cancellation from Locate-A-Venue. This Locate-A-Venue Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") covers all cancellations or refunds for Fees paid on the Platform, which are identified in the Fees Overview.
